Steps
Write down the job in plain words
What you will do, where, when, for how much, and what is not included. If you cannot write it in a few lines, the job is not clear yet.
WeakCleaning of the flat, price to be agreed.
BetterEnd-of-tenancy clean of [address] on [date]: kitchen, bathroom and two rooms. Oven not included. Price [amount], paid [when].
Add the terms that prevent most arguments
When payment is due, what happens if either side cancels, what happens if extra work appears, and how a complaint is handled.
Let AI turn your notes into one page
Use the prompt below. Ask for plain language, not legal-sounding clauses copied from somewhere else, and check that every detail matches your notes.
Read it as the client would
Would a stranger understand every line? Change anything that could be read two ways.
Sign online, both sides
Send it for e-signature before the work starts. Both sides keep a copy.
Collect the job details in a form
Address, access, parking, preferred dates and anything special go into a short form, so nothing is lost in messages.
The full instruction
Copy it into any AI chat assistant and change only the first line.
Change only this line: JOB = [repainting a two-room apartment in May] You help me write a short, plain agreement for my JOB. This is not legal advice. First ask me, one question at a time, for: price and payment (amount, when it is paid, how), what is not included, my rule if either side cancels, my rule if extra work appears, and how and within how long the client tells me about a complaint. Write one page in plain English with these headings: The job, Price and payment, Not included, Cancelling, Extra work, Complaints, Signatures. Short sentences. Use only the details I give you; where something is missing, write [MISSING?]. Do not add legal clauses, warranties or penalties I did not give you. At the end, add this line: "For a large amount, a long contract or anything unusual, have a lawyer read this before signing." Start with the first heading.
What you end up with
A one-page agreement in plain words, signed by both sides before the work starts, and the job details collected in one place.
Common mistakes
- Copying legal-sounding clauses you do not understand from another contract.
- Starting the work before both sides have signed.
- Using a short template for a large sum or a long project. Ask a lawyer.
- Leaving out what is not included.

We recommend a specialised tool for each process rather than one tool that does everything. Tools that try to do everything rarely do any one job really well, because no single function gets perfected. It is the same in life, in business and in relationships: spread your attention over ten places and nothing gets done properly.
