Steps
Outline the workbook from real questions
The questions your customers already ask are the table of contents. Group them into five chapters and give each chapter one exercise the reader fills in.
WeakWrite me an ebook about my business.
BetterHere are my 20 most asked questions. Group them into 5 chapters, each with one short exercise.
Make the cover and images
A clean, readable cover matters more than a clever one. Use your own photos, fixed for light, sharpness and background, and keep the title large enough to read on a phone.
Deliver it after sign-up
Put the workbook behind a short sign-up page. The delivery email sends the file, and two follow-ups ask how the first exercise went.
Sell it as a digital download
If you sell it, the product page says honestly what is inside: number of pages, chapters, exercises and who it is for.
Offer a printed copy without stock
A print-on-demand journal or notebook lets people order a printed copy without you paying for a print run up front. Order one sample yourself before you list it.
The full instruction
Copy it into any AI chat assistant and change only the first line.
Change only this line: BUSINESS = [a home bakery teaching sourdough basics to beginners] You help me turn what I know about my BUSINESS into a printable workbook of about 20 pages. Below I paste my 20 most asked customer questions. Ask me how I will offer it: free after sign-up, paid download or printed copy. Do four things: 1. Group the questions into 5 chapters. For each chapter: a title, 3 short sections and one exercise the reader fills in. 2. Write the text for chapter 1 in plain words, at most 600 words. 3. Write the sign-up page headline, 3 bullet points on what is inside and the delivery email. 4. Write an honest product description: pages, chapters, exercises, who it is for and who it is not for. Do not promise results or income. Start with the chapter plan. Paste your material below this line:
What you end up with
A workbook made once from real customer questions, with a clean cover, delivered by email after sign-up, optionally sold as a download and as a printed copy with no stock to hold. Each step uses a tool made for that job, so layout, delivery and printing take hours, not weeks.
Common mistakes
- Writing from what you think people need instead of the questions they really ask.
- A cover title too small to read on a phone.
- Listing a printed copy you have never ordered and checked yourself.

We recommend a specialised tool for each process rather than one tool that does everything. Tools that try to do everything rarely do any one job really well, because no single function gets perfected. It is the same in life, in business and in relationships: spread your attention over ten places and nothing gets done properly.
