Glossary
Embeddings
Embeddings are lists of numbers that represent the meaning of a piece of text, an image or a sound so that similar things end up close together.
What it means in practice
They let software search by meaning instead of exact words. They are the base of many search and question-answering features over your own documents.
Example
A search that finds a page about refunds when the customer typed money back.
