Content credentials
Content credentials are tamper-evident information attached to a file that records who made it and how, including whether AI was used.
What it means in practice
They help viewers judge where media came from, but only if they are kept when the file is saved and shared. Some platforms strip them.
Example
A picture whose attached record shows it was generated with an AI tool and then edited.
