Sandra puts her course online — and reads the badge rule

01 — Twenty seconds, one promise

The AI wrote her sales page in about twenty seconds and it was, Sandra admitted, well built: headline, promise, proof, price. The promise was that students would earn their first thousand within thirty days. She deleted the promise in two seconds flat. She sells a course about starting a faux-leather shop. She does not sell thousands.

02 — What it is, not what you’ll earn

Her page says what the course is: thirty-six lessons, how long they take, who is talking in each one — her face or the labelled presenter — what it costs, and one line in plain sight: no income is promised. It is a short page. The machine had suggested testimonials. She had none yet, so there are none.

03 — The badge

The free plan leaves a small badge at the bottom of every page — made with, and the platform’s name. Sandra read the rule about it twice, looking for the catch, and found only the badge. She kept the free plan and the badge. She tells students who the presenter is; she can tell them who built the checkout. It is the same kind of honesty, just smaller.

04 — One evening

The page, the checkout and three emails that go out by themselves took one evening, which left the rest of the week for the thing the course is about. The first student bought at eleven at night and wrote one line: I trust a course that promises me nothing. Sandra read it by the window and found that she agreed completely.
