What you need

Sandra, a Kailiniai hero
  • Your store's reviews and customer messages
  • A short Typeform for one question to recent buyers

Steps

  1. Write a one-page voice guide

Paste three texts you wrote yourself and are happy with. Ask the assistant to describe your voice in a few rules: sentence length, words you use, words you never use. Keep it to one page.

    Weak

Our voice is friendly and professional.

    Better

Short sentences. We say 'you', not 'customers'. We name the material and the size. We never write 'premium' or 'luxury'.

  2. Collect real doubts, not imagined ones

Copy questions and complaints from reviews and messages into one document and ask the assistant to group them. Usual groups are size or fit, quality, delivery, returns and whether it suits the buyer's use.

  3. Ask recent buyers one question

Send one short question to people who bought recently and agreed to hear from you: 'What almost stopped you from buying?' Their answers fill the gaps in your list.

  4. Rewrite ten pages, one doubt per short paragraph

Give the assistant the voice guide, the doubt groups and the real facts for each product. Each page answers the five doubts with facts you can prove.

    Before

Our beautiful premium scarf will make you feel amazing.

    After

Wool and silk, 180 by 70 cm. Hand wash cold. Ships in two working days from our studio. If the colour is not what you expected, you can return it within the period in our returns policy.

  5. Check every claim before publishing

List every claim on the new pages and mark where the proof is. Delete anything you cannot prove. No invented reviews, ratings or numbers. To test objections with AI personas instead of real buyers, see /guides/find-customer-objections-with-ai/; here only real doubts are used.

The full instruction

Copy it into any AI chat assistant and change only the first line.

Change only this line: PRODUCT = [a merino wool scarf]

You help me rewrite the product page for my PRODUCT so it answers the doubts real buyers have.

Below this prompt I paste three things: my one-page voice guide, the doubts from reviews, messages and the buyer question (grouped if I can), and the facts I can prove (material, size, care, delivery time, returns, anything else).

Write the product description in my voice:
1. One opening sentence that says what my PRODUCT is and who it is for.
2. Five short paragraphs, one for each of the five most common doubts, each answered only with the facts I gave.
3. If a doubt cannot be answered with my facts, write [FACT NEEDED?] instead of inventing one.
4. After the description, list every claim you made and which fact it comes from.

No invented reviews, ratings, numbers or superlatives.

Start with the opening sentence.

Paste your material below this line:

What you end up with

Ten product pages in one consistent voice that answer the questions buyers really ask, with every claim traced to a fact.

Common mistakes

  • Answering doubts you imagined instead of the ones in reviews and messages.
  • Letting the assistant fill missing facts with plausible guesses.
  • Adding ratings or quotes that no customer gave you.

Processes that need more than one tool

Thomas, a Kailiniai hero

Each process below uses several tools, each for the job it does best. Any AI chat assistant works where one is named.

  1. Write the voice guide

Tools, in order: any AI chat assistant → a document

    1. Paste three texts you wrote yourself and ask the chat assistant to describe your voice in a few rules.
    2. Save the rules on one page in a shared document.

    The prompt for this process

Describe my writing voice as a one-page guide.

Three texts I wrote myself and like: [paste]
Words I never want to use: [e.g. premium, luxury, best]
Who reads my product pages: [audience]

Write at most 10 rules about sentence length, words I use, how I address the reader, how I describe materials and sizes. Add 3 short examples of a sentence in my voice and the same sentence written in a voice that is not mine.

    Start with rule 1.

  2. Collect real doubts

Tools, in order: Shopify → any AI chat assistant

    1. Copy questions and complaints from your Shopify reviews and customer messages.
    2. Ask the chat assistant to group them into the five most common doubts.

    The prompt for this process

Group the real doubts of my buyers.

Questions and complaints copied from my store reviews and messages: [paste, without names or contact details]

Group them into at most five doubts, for example size or fit, quality, delivery, returns, whether it suits the buyer's use. For each group, give how many of the pasted items belong to it and quote one item word for word. Do not add doubts that are not in the text.

    Start with the largest group.

  3. Ask recent buyers one question

Tools, in order: Typeform → a spreadsheet

    1. Send a one-question Typeform to recent buyers who agreed to hear from you.
    2. Collect the answers in a spreadsheet and add new doubts to your groups.

    The prompt for this process

Help me ask recent buyers one question with a Typeform.

    What I sell: [products]
How buyers agreed to hear from me: [e.g. ticked the newsletter box at checkout]

Write the question (at most 12 words) about what almost stopped them from buying, an optional follow-up of at most 10 words, and a short message of at most 50 words that sends the link. No reward promises unless I give one: [reward or "none"].

    Start with the question.

  4. Rewrite ten pages

Tools, in order: any AI chat assistant → Shopify

    1. Give the chat assistant the voice guide, the doubt groups and the real facts for each product.
    2. Paste the checked descriptions into Shopify one product at a time.

    The prompt for this process

Rewrite one product page in my voice so it answers my buyers' real doubts.

    My voice guide: [paste]
    The five doubt groups: [paste]
    Product: [name]
Facts I can prove: [material, size, care, delivery, returns]

Write one opening sentence, then one short paragraph for each doubt, answered only with my facts. If a fact is missing, write [FACT NEEDED?]. No invented reviews, ratings or numbers. After the text, list each claim and its fact.

    Start with the opening sentence.

  5. Check every claim

Tools, in order: a spreadsheet → any AI chat assistant

    1. List every claim from the new pages in a spreadsheet with where the proof is.
    2. Ask the chat assistant to find any claim that has no proof, and delete it.

    The prompt for this process

Check the claims on my product pages.

My claim list from the spreadsheet: [paste: claim, page, where the proof is]
    The product page texts: [paste]

Find every claim in the texts that is not in the list, every claim in the list with an empty proof column, and every word that sounds like a promise (best, guaranteed, always). For each one, suggest deleting it or a plainer version.

Start with claims that have no proof.
