A one-page proposal deck in twenty minutes

Ema, a Kailiniai hero

A five-slide proposal that a busy person understands in one minute — drafted with AI, checked by you, sent the same day.

Adam, a Kailiniai hero

What you need

Sandra, a Kailiniai hero
  • Your rough notes (even bullet points)
  • The one thing you want the reader to say yes to
  • An AI presentation tool

Steps

  1. Write the ask first

One sentence: what you want and by when. Everything else in the deck exists to support it.

    Weak

    Let us discuss cooperation opportunities.

    Better

Rent the ground floor to us for 12 months from 1 November.

  2. Generate five slides, not fifteen

Problem · what you offer · why you · what it costs or needs · the ask. Ask the tool for exactly five.

  3. Replace every number with yours

AI will happily invent figures. Delete any number you cannot back up, and put your real ones in.

  4. Read slide three out loud

Ema’s lesson: the middle slide is where readers stop. If it does not make sense aloud, rewrite it.

  5. Send a link, not a file

A link opens on any phone. Add one line in the message: the ask, again.

The full prompt

You help me draft a short proposal deck.

Who reads it: [e.g. a landlord / a partner / a client]
What I want them to say yes to: [one sentence]
My notes: [paste bullet points]
Facts I can prove: [list — only these may appear as numbers]

Write exactly 5 slides: 1) the problem, 2) what I offer, 3) why me, 4) what it costs or needs, 5) the ask. Max 40 words per slide. Use only the facts I listed; if a number is missing, write [NUMBER?] instead of inventing it.

Start with slide 1 — no introduction.

What you end up with

A clear five-slide deck with your own facts and one ask — ready to send as a link the same day.

Common mistakes

  • Letting AI fill gaps with numbers you never gave it.
  • Fifteen slides when five would do.
  • Burying the ask on the last slide without saying it in the message too.
