Guide
Find your customers’ objections with AI personas
List the reasons people might not buy, so your ad or page answers them — then check those reasons against real customers.
What you need
- Any AI chat assistant
- A one-paragraph description of your offer and who it is for
- Real customer messages or reviews, if you have them (remove names and contact details first)
Steps
Describe the offer plainly
Write what you sell, the price range, who it is for, and the main alternative people use today.
Ask for three different buyers
Ask the AI to describe three realistic buyers who would consider the offer but hesitate — with different budgets and situations.
ExampleDescribe three different people who might consider this offer but hesitate. For each: their situation, what they use now, and what would make them say no.
Collect the objections
Ask each persona for its top three reasons not to buy, in its own words. Merge duplicates into one list.
Check against reality
AI personas are guesses, not research. Compare the list with real questions, reviews or sales calls, and keep the objections that real people actually raise.
Answer the real ones
For each objection that survived, write one sentence your ad or page will use to answer it.
What you end up with
A short list of checked objections and an answer for each — the raw material for ad angles and FAQ sections.
Common mistakes
- Treating AI personas as market research.
- Pasting customers’ personal data into the chat.
- Answering objections nobody actually has.
