Steps
Cut the article down to one point
A one-minute video carries one idea, not the whole article. Ask the assistant for a script that keeps the article's main point and its best example, in spoken sentences.
WeakSummarise my article into a video.
BetterFrom this article, write a 60-second spoken script with one main point, one real example from the text and one closing line that sends viewers to the full article. Do not add facts.
Add voice and captions, and label the voice
Turn the script into a video with stock scenes, an AI voice and captions. Try a second voice if the first sounds wrong for your brand. Say in the caption or on screen that the voice is AI.
ExampleVoice: AI. Based on our article [title].
Cut five posts for five places
From the same video and article, make five posts: a vertical clip, a square clip, a text post with one quote from the article, a carousel of the main steps and a short link post. Each one fits its platform.
Schedule them and log what went out
Schedule the five posts across the week and keep a simple log: date, platform, post, link. If you start from a filmed video instead of text, use /guides/one-video-thirteen-posts/.
The full instruction
Copy it into any AI chat assistant and change only the first line.
Change only this line: AUDIENCE = [home cooks looking for quick dinner ideas] You help me turn one article written for my AUDIENCE into a short video and five posts. Before you start, ask me one question at a time: the five platforms I post on and the link to the full article. Below this prompt I paste the article text. Do three things: 1. A 60-second spoken script with one main point and one real example from the article, ending with one line that sends viewers to the full article. Add no facts that are not in the text. 2. Five posts, one per platform, each with the text, the format (clip, carousel, text, link) and a short caption line saying the voice in the video is AI. 3. A one-week schedule table: day, platform, post. Start with the script. Paste your material below this line:
What you end up with
One captioned video with a labelled AI voice and five posts that all point back to the same article, scheduled and logged for one week.
Common mistakes
- Squeezing the whole article into one minute.
- Adding claims in the script that the article never made.
- Using an AI voice without saying so.
Processes that need more than one tool
Each process below uses several tools, each for the job it does best. Any AI chat assistant works where one is named.
Script from the article
Tools, in order: any AI chat assistant → Fliki
- Ask the chat assistant for a 60-second spoken script with one point and one example from the article.
- Paste the script into Fliki, scene by scene.
The prompt for this process
Turn my article into a 60-second spoken script that I will make into a video in Fliki. Article: [paste] Who watches: [audience] Link to the full article: [URL?] Keep one main point and one real example from the article. Write short spoken sentences split into 6 to 8 scenes, with a stock scene idea for each. End with one line that sends viewers to the full article. Add no facts that are not in the text. Start with scene 1.
Voice and captions
Tools, in order: Fliki → Murf
- Choose an AI voice and add captions to the video in Fliki.
- If the voice sounds wrong for your brand, record the script in Murf and swap the track.
The prompt for this process
Help me choose and label the AI voice for my short video, made in Fliki with Murf as the alternative voice. My brand in three words: [e.g. calm, practical, warm] Who watches: [audience] Script: [paste] Describe the voice that fits (pace, tone, accent) in 3 lines. Mark words in the script the voice may say wrongly and suggest a spelling for them. Then write a caption line of at most 15 words saying the voice is AI. Start with the voice description.
Cut posts for each platform
Tools, in order: OpusClip → Blotato
- Make vertical and square clips with captions from the video in OpusClip.
- Write the text, carousel and link posts and load all five into Blotato.
The prompt for this process
Write five posts from my article and its short video, one per platform, which I will schedule in Blotato. Article: [paste or summarise] Video: [one line on what it shows] Platforms: [list five] Link: [URL?] For each platform, give the format (vertical clip, square clip, carousel, text post or link post), the post text in the length that fits that platform and one line saying the voice in the video is AI. Use only what is in the article. Start with platform 1.
Schedule and log
Tools, in order: Blotato → a spreadsheet
- Schedule the five posts across one week in Blotato.
- Log date, platform, post and link in a spreadsheet and add what happened after a week.
The prompt for this process
Help me schedule five posts across one week and log them. The five posts: [platform and format of each] Days I can post: [e.g. Monday to Friday] Best times I know from my own past posts: [paste or "unknown"] Write a schedule table: day, time, platform, post. Then write the columns for my spreadsheet log (date, platform, post, link and one column for what happened after a week). Do not predict reach or results. Start with the schedule table.

We recommend a specialised tool for each process rather than one tool that does everything. Tools that try to do everything rarely do any one job really well, because no single function gets perfected. It is the same in life, in business and in relationships: spread your attention over ten places and nothing gets done properly.
